Larkin Communications’ CEO Doug Larkin Graduates from FBI Citizens’ Academy

FBI Citizens’ Academy Promotes Partnership Between Bureau and Community; Larkin Recognized As Business/Community Leader

 

BURKE, VA … April 11, 2006 --- Larkin Communications, a strategic communications firm, today announced that its CEO Doug Larkin was honored by the FBI Citizens’ Academy in a ceremony at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.  As a recognized business and community leader, Doug Larkin successfully completed the FBI Citizens’ Academy, which includes instruction on organized crime and drug investigations, national foreign counterintelligence, counterterrorism, civil rights and more. The graduation ceremony was held Saturday, April 8, at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia with a graduating class of 30 people.

 “The FBI Citizens’ Academy was a great opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with other community leaders in the Washington, D.C. area,” stated Doug Larkin, President and CEO of Larkin Communications. “I now have a better understanding of the role of the men and women in the FBI and an appreciation of the issues they face in meeting their goals, which reaffirms my personal commitment in supporting our nation’s intelligence and investigative community.”
